Chelsea midfielder Deco feels his decision to accept the 'challenge' at Stamford Bridge over a move to Inter Milan has been vindicated.
The Portuguese joined the Blues in June from Barcelona after turning down an approach from Inter Milan.
And Deco believes he was correct to ignore the opportunity for a reunion with former Porto colleague Jose Mourinho at Inter in order to join Luiz Felipe Scolari at Chelsea.
Scolari took over at Stamford Bridge this summer after leaving his post as Portugal boss, and Deco admits he is glad to again join forces with his former international leader.
"Felipao is a very serious man who doesn't like jokes, not even in groups, but he is a very good professional and a good person," Deco told Fut Lance.
"Analysing the offers, the Chelsea one fitted in better with what I wanted, the challenge was more interesting.
"Both Mourinho and Scolari have their own way of doing things. Mourinho can seem to be arrogant from a distance, but he is an excellent professional who understands his players very well."
