Randy Foye scored 23 points and Ryan Gomes added 20 as the Minnesota Timberwolves routed the Detroit Pistons 106-80.
Al Jefferson added 19 points for the Timberwolves, who have won two of their last three games.

Tayshaun Prince scored 20 points and Jason Maxiell had 12 for Detroit, who have now lost three of their last four contests.

Ray Allen scored 21 points as the Boston Celtics claimed a 118-103 victory over the Toronto Raptors.

Allen finished 8-of-12 from the floor and hit 5-of-7 of his 3-point attempts, including a pair early in the game as the Celtics raced to a 22-6 lead in the first eight minutes.

Kevin Garnett, Rajon Rondo and Tony Allen each finished with 15 points for the Celtics. Chris Bosh scored 24 points to lead Toronto.

Kobe Bryant scored 24 points to lead eight players in double figures as the Los Angeles Lakers posted a 118-108 victory over the Sacramento Kings.

The Lakers withstood a late comeback to improve to 11-1 - their best start since the 2001-02 campaign when they began 16-1 and won their last NBA title.

Bobby Jackson scored nine of his 15 points in the fourth quarter for the Kings to help cut a 16-point deficit down to four points with just over six minutes remaining.

Pau Gasol had 16 points and Andruw Bynum finished with 15 and 10 rebounds for Los Angeles. Lamar Odom added 14 points off the bench and Vladamir Radmanovic had 12 on four 3-pointers.

John Salmons paced Sacramento with 24 points, while rookie Bobby Brown scored a career-best 21 for Sacramento. The Kings played an eighth straight game without leading-scorer Kevin Martin, who is sidelined with an ankle injury.

Denver staged an 18-2 run over the final 5:05 to seal a 114-101 victory over the visiting Chicago Bulls.

Kenyon Martin scored nine of his 26 points during the run, including a 3-pointer with 47 seconds left that capped his perfect shooting night at 10-for-10. Chauncey Billups, Carmelo Anthony and Nene each added 21.

Ben Gordon led Chicago with 28 points and knocked down five 3-pointers, while rookie point guard Derrick Rose collected 15 and six assists.

Elton Brand scored 23 points as the Philadelphia 76ers squandered a big half-time lead only to recover in the fourth quarter and hold off the Golden State Warriors 89-81. Kelenna Azubuike led the way with 16 points for Golden State.
