Two Poles were saved when they nipped to the kitchen to make a cuppa during a TV ad break - just as a lorry crashed into their living room.
Jaroslaw and Magda Kurowski, from Bailogard, ended up with the truck right next to the television in their sitting room after the driver lost control.
"They'd been sitting there a few seconds earlier. If it hadn't been for the boring adverts they would have been crushed," said one neighbour.
The truck took out a whole wall of the house before coming to a halt beside the telly. The driver was rushed to hospital for treatment to multiple injuries.
"They'll definitely think twice before settling down for a cosy night in front of the box in future," added the neighbour.
