Wrestlemania Card Predictions

I thought it'd be fun to make a thread for people to predict:
1. Who wins the Royal Rumble (and who they challenge)
2. Who the champions going in to WM25 will be
3. What the card for WM 25 will be.

So, everyone, post what you think! I'll start.


Call me crazy, call me a mark, but I think CM Punk has a very good shot at winning the Royal Rumble. If not him, I have a feeling either Edge or Batista will win it.

I think Jeff Hardy and John Cena will still be champions heading into the PPV.

Predicted Card:
John Cena (c) vs Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship

I think that either Kennedy or MVP will win the Royal Rumble, MVP more likely since this losing streak thing is a good way to set up a surprising win. Anyway...

Not much hope from everyone for Jeff to retain till Wrestlemania...

Okay I have a few ideas...

JBL will win the Royal Rumble due to Shawn Michaels and him being the last two, and Shawn jumping out for him. JBL brags and continues to down Shawn on the way to No Way Out. Batista says that he doesn't like the way JBL treats Shawn, and challenges JBL to a match at No Way Out, Batista wins and Shawn is set free, and gets JBL's WrestleMania title match, if JBL wins he chooses if Batista works for him or leaves Raw. JBL refuses, but after a convincing loss in which Batista attacks JBL to make him lose a match to 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan, and the next week to Charlie Haas who at that time was Haas the Clown (Doink Parody). JBL continued to refuse until the last Raw before No Way Out when Batista stole his limo and put it in a nearby body of water. JBL was fine for a while after that, until he finds out that Batista has also painted over his corporation headquaters, broken into his office, broken down everything in there, and refuses to leave the area until JBL agrees to the match. JBL finally agrees and at No Way Out they go at least 15 minutes in a match where JBL hits the Clothesline from Hell for a two count, gets up and ready hitting Batista with a huge powerbomb knocking him out. JBL turns to see Shawn Michaels in the ring seemingly ready to help JBL. Shawn checks to see that the referee isn't looking and drops JBL with Sweet Chin Music then leaves the ring, as Batista slowly crawls into the cover for the three count. Shawn looks back to see JBL knocked out, and Batista smiling happy that Shawn is free and Batista gets the World title match. From there JBL and Shawn fued for a short while heading toward WrestleMania where they have th Battle of the Texans, though JBL refuses to call it that, they still do.

Coming off of that at the Royal Rumble John Cena takes on Kane getting the victory and holding on to the title, but after the match when both men were tired The Legacy came out and attacked. Orton RKOs Cena, while Cody Rhodes, Manu, and Sim Snuka take out Kane. Heading toward No Way Out Orton brags that he has taken Cena out once again, but the last Raw before No Way Out Cena runs out and brawls with Orton, who then hides behind The Legacy. Stephanie then makes John Cena versus Randy Orton for No Way Out. The two battle it out with The Legacy coming out and Sim and Manu getting taken out by Cena. Cody Rhodes gets into the ring after Cena hits the Five-Knuckle Shuffle and Orton is slowly getting up. Orton turns and Cody kicks him in the gut and hits the DDT! The fans start to cheer for Cody, as Cena retains, but Orton wins by DQ. Cena fueds with Batista though respecting him and not attacking him over the course of the month until WrestleMania 25. While Orton continues his team with Manu and Sim Snuka, and they attack Cody Rhodes for a while. Amazed by the fact that Rhodes had the guts to turn on him, Orton stops the attack midway, without bloodying Cody and says "WrestleMania....Cody Rhodes versus Randy Orton, and you can't cheat me out of anything this time!" Orton respects Cody for a while, as Cody defeats the likes of Charlie Haas, William Regal, Santino Marella, and even JBL due to a distraction from Shawn Michaels. They continued to build it up with Orton watching Cody closely for possibility of mistakes and knowing him well. The two finally go face to face for a contract signing, in which Sim Snuka attacks Cody, but Orton protects Cody for a moment telling Sim there's no need. Orton and Manu leave, but Sim turns and runs at Cody getting taken through the table! Promos air for the match with the famous line being "WrestleMania...Cody Rhodes versus Randy Orton...I will finally show that I am the BETTER legacy...I am the better of our generation!"

As things happen here, we also have the battle between CM Punk and William Regal. Regal and Punk continue their fued as it has been normal through the Rumble to No Way Out, where Santino Marella screws Regal out of the Intercontinental Championship. Regal and Santino then have a 12 minute match on Raw for number one contendership, in which Lance Cade returned to WWE and took out both men while the referee was down. Though CM Punk runs out and takes Cade out. The fans were amazed by the ability these men had, and as they finish with the regal knee to the temple, the fans couldn't help but cheer both men on heading for WrestleMania where it was announced the opening contest will be CM Punk defending against William Regal, Santino Marella, and Lance Cade in a fourway match.

SmackDown's/ECW's Side...

The final superstar in the Royal Rumble for SmackDown was MVP, who fought his way to the final three starting at number two. Vickie Guerrero was impressed by this and stated that no matter what he would get the WrestleMania main event match. While at the Rumble Jeff Hardy defeated Edge to retain the WWE Championship. Edge wasn't finished with Jeff, and challenged him for the WWE Championship once more at No Way Out. But Jeff retained once again. MVP was happy with this, as he knows Jeff Hardy in and out in that ring, and he was ready for a true fight at WrestleMania in the SmackDown! Main Event!

With that happening, Edge was unhappy that he couldn't get a victory over Jeff Hardy, but he noticed that Matt Hardy was still fighting with Vladimir Kozlov. He found Matt taking on Kozlov for the ECW Championship on ECW, and he decided to join the match. He started by taking out Kozlov, but then turned his attention to Matt grabbing a ladder, a table, and a chair attacking Matt with it. On SmackDown! Kozlov was defeated by Edge, but afterwards Matt attacked Edge, and the match was made for WrestleMania, TLC, ECW Championship on the line.

Finally happening with the SmackDown! Side of WrestleMania matches. Triple H begins whining and complaining about losing the WWE Championship. Undertaker notices and confronts Triple H telling him that this isn't how a true WWE superstar, wrestling veteran, acts. Triple H agrees and seems to be stopping, until Undertaker has a match with MVP where MVP wins due to Triple H bringing out the "great equaliser' triple H takes Undertaker out with the sledgehammer! Undertaker then calls Triple H a coward, a whining little chicken, and says he might as well quit. Undertaker says that he can't believe anyone would be wed with such a childish man, and says that triple H no longer deserves respect, championships, or anything he cares about. Triple H retaliates, and Undertaker and Triple H brawl throughout the time between the Rumble and No Way Out. They have a match at No Way Out where Triple H loses by DQ because of using the sledgehammer on Undertaker. Triple H then says that he'll end Undertakers carreer and winning streak at WrestleMania in an I Quit match!

Results:

In the Intercontinental Championship Match everyone gets a finisher used, and the end is near when Regal locks in the Regal Stretch on Santino, but Cade breaks that up and hits the Cade Bomb for a two count before Punk gets Cade up and hits the Go To Sleep! It was amazing to him to get that second WrestleMania victory in a row and be Intercontinental Champion! Then the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, where Jack Swagger is the one who wins ending it by taking Rey Mysterio in a Gorilla Press and throwing him off the top of the ladder and on top of everyone else still standing then unhooking the briefcase. In the battle of Rhodes vs. Orton Dusty Rhodes and 'Cowboy' Bob Orton show up at ringside to take a seat and watch closely to see their children do battle. Orton and Rhodes shake hands at first showing each other some respect, which shocks the fans. They have a 22 minute battle that shocks the fans. Until Manu gets hit with the DDT by Rhodes then Rhodes turns to the RKO! Before he can win though, Ted DiBiase Junior returns hitting Orton with the Million Dollar Nightmare. rhodes and Orton get to their feet at the same time, and Rhodes hits Orton with the DDT for the win! Battle of the Texans...Shawn Michaels defeats JBL showing that it's better to be a Proud Texan and that he truly is free...Triple H vs. Undertaker where Undertaker gets Triple H to quit...Jeff Hardy and MVP battle it out for about 20 minutes before MVP gets the victory with the Drive-By Kick. TLC Match has Edge winning the ECW Championship after about 30 minutes of pure action. then the main event is just as good as everyone expected and Cena retains the championship being the only World Champion to retain that night. And Cena wins Cena vs. Batista II.
