WWE's lawsuit against Dale R. Gagner's AWA promotion was officially closed as of 12/18. The Judge was satisfied with Gagner's follow-up to the Summary Judgment against him issued this past October. Gagner filed an official response to the United States District Court of Minnesota on 11/6, stating that he was adhering to the Summary Judgment, recognizing that he and his "partners, associates, agents, representatives, servants, employees, successor and assigns" are permanently enjoined from infringing on "any of the AWA marks" or WWE's rights to them. Gagner also recognized that his version of the AWA are also prohibited and enjoined from registering, using or owning the AWAStars.com and myspace.com/awastars domains. Gagner provided proof that he had transferred the domains to World Wrestling Entertainment's ownership. The URL to the former website is now dead.

Gagner got what was coming to him. He knew that the courts were going to side with the WWE because they own the rights to the name, logos, video library, etc.
