Frank Miller, the author of 'Sin City' and '300' and the director of the upcoming 'The Spirit', is planning to bring Buck Rogers to cinema screens.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the Miller-directed take on the sci-fi adventure is expected to be darker than previous TV series.
The Gabriel Macht, Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L Jackson-starring 'The Spirit' is released in Ireland on 2 January.
