While sources within WWE are usually quick to talk about Vince McMahon or just about any other subject, they do not talk much about The Undertaker and what’s going on with him, likely out of respect. What they are saying is that Taker has been looking to be in pain as of late and it has been mentioned over the past two months or so that his knee and back have been bothering him.
WWE has kept Undertaker off TV while they come up with a new program for him, with the idea that there’s no reason to have him on TV with nothing concrete to be involved in. Taker has still been wrestling at live events but reports from those shows indicate a limited performance. WWE is allowing Taker to rest some of those bumps and bruises before throwing him back into another big feud.
The feeling in the WWE locker room is that his next program will begin with the build for the Royal Rumble, probably at one of tomorrow night’s SmackDown tapings.
