WNW reader Matt from Port St. Lucie, FL sent the following:

Last night at the Bank Atlantic Center in Ft. Lauderdale, Randy Orton was involved in a physical altercation with a fan that led to the fan being tased by security at ringside. During the main event (John Cena vs. Randy Orton) a fan in the first row of the far right corner decided to put his hands on Orton outside the ring after Orton threw Cena into the steel steps. I didn't have the best view of "Who started it" because the seats I had we're opposite the altercation and I was about 8 rows back. After the origional contact by the fan Orton actually fell to the ground. When he got up, he went off (I dont blame him). From first glance it looked as if Orton had his hands around the fans neck and then security seperated them. Orton then proceded to scream "Get him out of here" for a good 45 seconds and then entered the ring and stood on the turnbuckle and scremed some more for the fan to be ejected. When security approached the fan, he refused to leave and threw a full drink into the ring that soaked the ref and just missed Orton.

A security guard in my section told us that the fan was then tased and removed from the building. It was a wild incident to say the least.

" Don't tase me bro.. I didn't do anything! *zap* AAGGHHH OUCH!" Well serves him right. You don't put your hands on someone like Orton. Same thing for when JBL gets out of his limo. Don't touch the man!

However, at the same time Orton should NOT have put his hands on that fan. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets fined or something. Hell, if that fan could sell an injury Orton could go to court... Lets hope not.

Oh and thanks for the info.

Orton did the right thing. Had he just full blown beat the shit out of the guy, he woulda been looking at a big lawsuit. Friggin' fans, when are they gonna learn that wrestling is entertainment...it ain't real, kids.
