The Italian FA has confirmed that the World Cup qualifier against the Republic of Ireland in Italy on 1 April will take place in Bari at 8.50pm local time (7.50 GMT).
The Group 8 clash will take place at the San Nicola stadium in Bari.
The Italian FA has informed the FAI that it will be given an allocation of 9,000 tickets for Republic of Ireland supporters.
Fans wishing to register their interest for tickets for the game can send an email stating full name, address and contact numbers to ticket.office@fai.ie.
The closing date to apply for an application form for this fixture is Friday, 30 January 2009.
