We've known since the announcement of Banjo-Kazooie for XBLA that its sequel Banjo-Tooie would be coming early this year as well. Now an update on the Banjo Blog finally gives a more specific window, telling us to expect it sometime in April. It's likely to be priced at 1200 MS Points ($15) like its predecessor, but Rare hasn't officially given a price so far.
Like the original, the game is being upscaled with smoother frame rates and will output in HD. The game will also deliver the promised Stop 'n' Swop feature, but the developer is playing coy with exactly how it will work. The blog update included the first screenshots of Banjo-Tooie's Arcade appearance (above). This announcement is coming pretty early, which should give you plenty of time to check your couch cushions and gather the necessary funds.--
