There has been a significant arms seizure by gardaí in Co Meath.
Around thirteen guns and a quantity of drugs were recovered by gardaí from Navan in a planned operation.
Late last night gardaí searched a home in a housing estate in Navan
During the course of that search they found a total of 13 weapons - 12 shotguns and one rifle.
Gardaí are examining the possibility that the guns they recovered are from the cashe of thirty weapons which had been stolen from an arms dealer in Carrick on Suir earlier this month.
Cannabis resin with a total value estimated at around €80,000 were also recovered.
