Ross Kemp has said that he would like to return to his acting career in the future.
The former 'EastEnders' star, who now makes war zone documentaries for television, told ITN that he would like to spend more time at home pursuing acting projects.
Kemp said: "At the moment all I am trying to do is do the films we are commissioned to do to our best advantage."
"I would like to go back and do some acting in the future. I have been away from home for eight month periods the last three or four years which is a long time to be away for."
"It would be nice to spend some time in the UK and be driven to work in a taxi rather than an armoured personnel carrier."
