Devices made safe in Lucan

Army bomb disposal experts have made safe a hand grenade and a homemade explosive device found on open ground near Greenfort Park, Lucan in Dublin.

Both devices were dismantled on site and were declared safe at around 4.30pm today.

They are now undergoing examination by the gardaí.
