Jennifer Aniston has said her split with former husband Brad Pitt made her "superhuman".
The actress, who turns 40 this week, told the News of the World that she thought she would be with the star of 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' for the rest of her life.
The former couple married in 2000 but broke up five years later before Pitt set up home with Angelina Jolie.
Aniston has dated a series of men, including 'The Wedding Crashers' Vince Vaughn, since the split.
She is currently dating singer John Mayer.
