- WWE will tape Friday Night SmackDown for this week and next week tonight in at the Rose Garden. Advertised for tonight’s tapings is a match with Edge vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy and Undertaker vs. Big Show in a Casket Match. John Cena is also scheduled for tonight’s tapings.
- After last night’s RAW/ECW tapings in Spokane, Washington, John Cena defeated World Heavyweight Champion Edge by disqualification after Edge hit the referee. Cena hit an Attitude Adjuster on Edge after the bell rang but since the match ended in DQ, Edge retained the World Title.
