At least 10 people have been killed and 20 injured in a collision between a train and a tourist coach in central Slovakia.
The train smashed into the coach at full speed on a level-crossing near the ski resort of Polomka Bucnik, according to early reports.
A total of 36 people were on the coach, all from the town of Banovce-nad-Bebravou in western Slovakia.
Two people with serious spinal injuries were taken by helicopter to hospital in the town of Banska Bystrica, while others who were less seriously hurt were taken to hospital in the nearby town of Brezno.
