Jade Goody has said she was not "embarrassed or ashamed" about having her battle with cancer filmed for a reality television show.

The 27-year-old who married her fiance Jack Tweed on Sunday has told OK! Magazine she is "ready to go to heaven" after tying the knot.

Goody, whose cervical cancer has spread to her liver, groin and bowel, has been given just weeks to live.
Her friend and publicist Max Clifford said the "dream" wedding at Down Hall Country Hotel, near Hatfield Heath, was "full of laughter and tears".

Goody sold the picture and TV rights to the ceremony for nearly £1 million, and has been open about wanting to exploit media interest in her battle with cancer to make as much money as possible for her sons. She has two sons: Bobby, five, and Freddie, four, from her previous relationship with TV presenter Jeff Brazier.

"I'm not embarrassed or ashamed of what I have done," she told the magazine. "I've got no grudges any more. When you're going through something like this, there's just no point.

"I bet if Jordan was in my position even she would stop hating the people she hates. You just don't have room to hate any more, not when you don't have long left to live."

Elton John's florist provided bouquets for the wedding, and television personalities including Richard Madeley, Judy Finnigan and Paul O'Grady attended. Goody, wearing a cream and ivory Manuel Mota silk dress with high neck, V-back and full skirt box pleating, was led up the aisle by her grandfather John Caddock.

She told the magazine she felt sorry to be leaving so many loved ones behind, and even in the throes of a terminal illness she is still keeping up her sense of humour.

"I keep telling them (my friends and family) that whenever they think of me they have to look up in to the sky where they'll see a bright shining star - but that won't be me," she said. "Just look for the fattest star up there and that'll be me!" she joked.

Goody, originally from Bermondsey, south London, was first diagnosed with cervical cancer in August.
