Regarding plans for John Cena at WrestleMania 25, it all hinges on the company’s negotiations with Hulk Hogan for the event. We broke the news of there being some back and forth between the two parties, which Hogan himself later confirmed on the Bubba the Love Sponge radio show. However, Hogan said they were unable to agree on a specific scenario for him at the event, but McMahon was open to doing something with him in the future.

Despite Hogan’s comments, according to a company source, negotiations are still ongoing for the WWE Hall of Famer to wrestle Cena at WrestleMania. Officials hope the match takes place as it would have the greatest effect on the buyrate for the pay-per-view spectacular.

Should negotiations fall through, WWE has a back-up plan. Cena will simply be sandwiched into the World Heavyweight Championship match between Edge and Big Show at WrestleMania with it being turned into a three-way bout.

There is another rumor going around that Steve Austin could wrestle Cena at the big event, but that is pure rumor at this point.

They'd better hurry up with Hogan then, there's only four weeks untill Mania to build it.
