JBL could be retiring soon, according to those around him. The site also mentions that Layfield could hang the boots up as early as this year's WrestleMania, which seems like a stretch to me with him just winning the Intercontinental Championship. JBL has had back issues for years now. His wife recently opened her own financial advisory firm and we've been reporting his recent sponsorship involvement with OVW, so it looks like they are getting ready for that to happen. It's not known whether he will go back to commentating if and when he does retire, but sources say they would be surprised if he did.
