Elle Macpherson has been cast opposite Mischa Barton in the pilot episode of the modelling drama 'Beautiful Life'.
Reuters reports that the planned series follows the lives of a group of male and female models who share a home in New York.
Macpherson will play Claudia, the owner of the top modelling agency in New York and a catwalk star in the 1980s.
Among Macpherson's other acting credits are the series 'Friends' and the films 'The Edge', 'Batman & Robin' and 'If Lucy Fell'.
