Rhydian Roberts has offered words of support to his former 'X Factor' rival Leon Jackson, after the young singer was dropped by his record label.
Speaking to the Daily Record, Roberts said: "Leon is a great guy. I wish him well and I'm sure he'll do fine in the future."
"People are always trying to see if there is any conflict between us or whether we are still in competition."
"There probably was competition in 'The X Factor' because that's what it was all about. But Leon is a gent and he won fair and square," he said.
"It was a real shame he was dropped and I feel for him. But I don't think he needs to worry. He'll always have work as a singer."
Roberts, who was beaten by Jackson in the final of the show, is currently working on his second album.
