The recently promised downloadable content for Fable 2 could be on its way sooner than we thought. Kotaku reports that while speaking to Peter Molyneux at the Game Developers Conference, the head of Lionhead Studios claimed the next pack will be due in a matter of weeks. "Don't think months, think more like weeks," he said. "It's called See the Future."

He went on to say that this next pack is more directly tied to the overall narrative of the Fable series. "This time we've taken a little bit more time on it, it's a little bit more story driven," he said. "It answers some of the questions, if you're a real fan of Fable. It's going to test you a little bit emotionally as well. But I think the real unique thing here is it starts to tease and hint at what it [sic] starting to happen in the world of Albion and what is happening in the future."

It isn't the first time someone from Lionhead has hinted at the possibility of a third Fable. Design director Dene Carter commented that Theresa would probably play a large role in a sequel. Given that she's a Seeress, the name "See the Future" for the upcoming DLC certainly makes sense. Molyneux was coy about announcing an official sequel, but hinted strongly that this DLC is a preview of what's to come. "I'm not announcing anything, but if you play See the Future you're going to be getting a flavor at what's going to be happening."--
