RAW Results - 6th April 2009
Location -
Announcers - Michael Cole and Jerry 'The King' Lawler

We start off with a look back at what some might call the 25th Anniversary of Wrestlemania. We have the photos to prove what happened.

We are live from Houston, Texas and your announcers are Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler.

We start off with Randy Orton coming to the ring. Randy tells everyone that he does not know what sickens him more, that Triple H illegally used a sledgehammer to beat him last night or the fact that the people enjoyed every second of it. Orton says that it is good that everyone has a moment of happiness in their miserable lives. Orton says that last night proved nothing. Orton says that Triple H cannot beat him on his own and he will get his rematch. Orton says that the McMahon family owes it to him. The company owes it to him. Orton says that everyone owes it to him. Orton says that when he gets his rematch, he will beat Triple H and take his rightful place as WWE Champion. Orton tells the McMahon family that there will be problems if they get in his way. Orton reminds us that he bashed ‘the old man’ and ‘the son’ in the skull. He reminds us that he RKOed and IEDDTed Stephanie. Maybe he attends a McMahon family outing. He says that he hasn’t seen Linda in a while. Why not introduce himself to the McMahon grandkids.

Vince McMahon’s music plays because there is NO CHANCE that Randy is going to be at the McPicnic. Vince is in his announcer jacket and Randy leaves the ring when Vince arrives. Vince says that if Orton wants to get his hands on a McMahon, there is one in the ring. Vince says that he will give Randy what he wants. Vince says that he is not going to give Randy another championship match because Randy does not deserve it because of the hell he put his family through. Vince says that Randy will get some backlash and it will take place at Backlash. It will be when he is in the ring with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. They will face ‘his son-in-law’ Triple H, ‘his son’ Shane McMahon, and Vince McMahon.

Orton says that he is in shock that Vince is in a match where he can hide behind Shane and Triple H. Randy says that Vince is terrified of him. Vince says that Randy is terrified because Rhodes and DiBiase aren’t standing with him. Vince says that without Rhodes and DiBiase, Orton is an abject failure. Orton suggests that he face Vince in an one-on-one match. Orton wonders if he would be a failure then. Randy says that he does not need Ted or Cody tonight and he did not need him to bash in his head. Orton says that he might as well have his Wrestlemania moment a day late when he puts Vince down. Randy asks Vince if he wants the match. Vince says that Randy might put him down or put him in a coma, but he has his match.

We are back and we have lumberjacks because they didn’t get on the pay per view. We are told that this match took place last night
