The second maintenance release of KDE4
The KDE community announced a few minutes ago, in a press release, the immediate availability of the second maintenance release of KDE 4.2. The new version is dubbed "Cano" and it brings many bug fixes and improvements, especially for applications such as KRunner, Okular, KAlarm, KMail, Kontact, KMix, KDiamond, KNetWalk, as well as for Plasma, Nspluginviewer, PyKDE4 and KHTML. Currently, the KDE 4 desktop environment ships with many packages, including web development applications, educational tools, administrative programs and more, all of which are available in over 50 languages. Everyone who is using KDE 4.2.0 or 4.2.1 is advised to update to the most recent version.
