Due to the NBA playoffs, WWE may be forced to move the location of the Extreme Rules PPV in June. The event is set to be held at the New Orleans Arena, but if the New Orleans Hornets make the NBA Playoffs and need the arena for a home game, WWE will have to move the show to the Lakefront Arena at the University of New Orleans.

So they should, well whoever had the arena booked first should stay and with that being there home arena, it is only courteous for them to do so.

WWE currently does not know which venue in New Orleans will host the Extreme Rules pay-per-view on June 7th, 2009. The original plan was for the event to be held at the New Orleans Arena. However, if the New Orleans Hornets need the New Orleans Arena on June 7th for a playoff game, WWE will be forced to move the Extreme Rules show to the Lakefront Arena at the University of New Orleans.

This event will most likely be moved to the UNO Lakefront, as the Hornets are playing well right now. The Lakefront isn't a bad arena. I recall alot of WCW PPVs there in the past.
