The man accused of attempting to break into Jamie Foxx's Philadelphia hotel room will undergo psychiatric evaluation before he is allowed to stand trial.
Steven Taliver, also known as Willie Brown, was arrested on 31 March (09) for burglary, criminal threats, stalking, false imprisonment and harassment - nine days after he allegedly tried to break into Foxx's room at the Pennsylvania city's AKA Hotel.
Foxx answered the door to the intruder, who pretended he was Beyonce Knowles' producer, and was forced to overpower the 49-year-old, who fled the scene. He was caught days later when Foxx's security spotted him near the hotel and alerted the police.
According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, Taliver, 49, will be transferred from the state prison system to the Norristown State Hospital where he will receive treatment for 60 days.
A hearing on the status of his mental health has been scheduled for 5 June (09).
