If ever there was a license that begged for a ridiculously overpriced collectors edition, it's Batman. And with the forthcoming Batman: Arkham Asylum, Eidos and Rocksteady are evidently putting the license to good use, as Kotaku reports the $100 collectors edition will come with a full-blown 12-inch Batarang.
Oh, it comes with the game too, along with a DC Custom Encyclopedia, soundtrack, behind-the-scenes DVD, and the first DLC pack. It should be noted, though, that currently GameStop's description of the collectors edition only says that the final contents are "to be determined," so it's possible the final make-up may change. Hopefully, that'll only mean it'll bring more potentially dangerous Batman gadget replicas. We sure wouldn't mind a grappling hook.
