TNA's newest & hottest Knockout & the co-host of TNA "Global Impact," Christy Hemme, was one of the special guests on this past week's live edition (6/26/06) of Monday Night Mayhem, which can be heard in streaming audio every week (and live from 7-9PM ET every Monday night) exclusively on The Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network (www.MondayNightMayhem.com, www.WrestlingMediaNetwork.com, www.ObsessedWithWrestling.com, www.Dory-Funk.com, & celebrating its 10th Anniversary, www.AudioWrestling.com -- your official home of "The Spring Break Incident" Video-On-Demand, featuring Stuff Magazine's all-new fitness correspondent, the hottest member of this past season's edition of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars," & WWE Diva, Stacy Keibler).

The interview with the winner of the 2004 WWE RAW Diva Search is now available to hear for FREE in Real Audio!

Here are just some of the highlights from the interview provided by the 1st place winner of The Mayhem's "North Of The Border Chris Jericho VIP Meet & Greet Contest," Steve Cage.

================================================== ===========

The Mayhem was joined by one of the key parts in the soon-to-be-released "TNA Knockouts" DVD, Christy Hemme herself! An interview that was almost two years in the making definitely did not disappoint.

The Big Mosh & Blade had a nice laugh to start things, giving the listening audience a backdrop of how the good people at the WWE put not one, but two kyboshes, on prior interviews lined up in late '04 (during the RAW Diva Search) & the spring of '05 (for her Playboy pictorial). Christy started off by saying a simple statement that resonates pretty clearly: "I'm free!"

Hemme spoke candidly on how she loves being in TNA so far, and how it's a lot easier to maintain her goals. She said that maintaining friendships in the locker room is much easier now as well, and how TNA is more of a "family-type" atmosphere. Overall, she is happy with where she is now, and would not change a thing.

Christy added that she also appreciates the more flexible schedule that TNA offers to its talent, and is very glad that she was not quickly thrown into the six-sided ring right away, like when she was in the WWE (especially when they used her at house shows). She like being able to be at her home more often, and training at her Santa Monica Dojo on her downtime.

The Big Mosh & Blade then asked about the upcoming Knockouts DVD (available next month), and Christy said how she had much input into it, and was able to "be herself" and show a side she had never been able to showcase before. She then spoke of how the group of girls at TNA is very warm, and that they are great people. It was a different experience for the DVD, and she cannot wait to see the final/finished product.

Mosh then went on to speak of how the WWE Diva Search has evolved over the past two years and previewed the final eight finalists, which we will be seeing starting next Monday night on RAW. Christy said how it’s crazy because there are so many really good-looking girls in Los Angeles, and how so many of them audition. She says they all try out, and go on a billion auditions -- but the thing is the fans are smarter than that. With her she feels they picked her due to her spirit, and they saw that "it was more than a contest to her." Christy sincerely hopes that the true fans will find the girl this year and in future contests to come.

She likes the ability to be able to speak for TNA & get on the mic, and agrees that to learn in this business, "you have to get involved." She said it was a great way to get her feet wet upon entering the company, and she’s learning as much as she can. She honestly thinks that TNA has grown so much in a short amount of time, with more to come in the summer months.

Christy believes that Total Nonstop Action is doing a great job with showcasing their women (both in and out of the ring), and keeps her fingers crossed for a full-time Women’s Division. She is very excited to be on the show as much as she is.

The Mayhem Crew then goes into her new involvement with the internet community. She likes how she has had much positive feedback for her column on TNAWrestling.com ("Hemme Powered"). She also admits she’s finally a MySpace member now, and how she has always had a love for writing. We will be seeing plenty of that in the weeks to come.

Blade & Mosh ask if the recent & past WWE releases are due to the Creative Team "having nothing for them" and using that reasoning as a cop-out/excuse. Christy says that personally, she never stopped thinking of new ideas for them to possibly use -- especially with her time with The Legion Of Doom (Road Warrior Animal & Heidenreich) and with her feud with Trish Stratus. "Things happen for a reason -- it is or it isn't meant to be: that simple." She wants to make it perfectly clear that she is enjoying her time now in TNA, is now upset she was released from the WWE, and looks forward to the future with a smile on her face.

For Christy's inside perspective on what is was like to work with Jimmy Kimmel on Comedy Central's "The Man Show" vs. working with Jeremy Borash on "Global Impact," we encourage you to listen to the interview -- this alone makes it an instant "Mayhem Classic."

*Also enclosed in the 6/26 program is a near 45-minute awesome interview w/the first-ever Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion, the lead singer of Fozzy, & the star of Norm Foster's "Opening Night," Chris Jericho.
