A baby badger plucked from the jaws of a vicious dog has been named after TV presenter Jonathan Ross, who is a fan of the sanctuary which rescued the cub.
Jonathan survived a savage encounter with a Jack Russell and is being nursed back to health at the Secret World wildlife centre in Highbridge, Somerset.
The stricken badger was taken from the mouth of the terrier on Exmoor and had tooth puncture marks in its head and mouth.
