She was arrested shortly after by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The fan was issued a citation for trespassing and disorderly conduct and then released.
A sheriff's spokesman said it was unclear what she was up to at Spears' suburban Calabasas home.
The singer, who was away from the property at the time, recently moved to the address from her hilltop home in Los Angeles.
Her old pad was prone to spying by the paparazzi, who occasionally staked out a fire access road to try to get shots of the 27-year-old star.
Tozier-Robbins is scheduled to appear in court on 16 June.
