Miley Cyrus's father has responded to the verbal attack on his daughter by Jamie Fox.
Country star Billy Ray said the comedian's comments were "unfunny" and "hurtful".
It follows an outburst on Foxx's radio show in whish he said the Hannah Montana star should "make a sex tape and grow up".
Foxx has tried to explain away his comments as a joke.
But it appears that he has done nothing to appease Bill Ray's anger.
The Achy Breaky Heart singer told the Bonnie Hunt show: "It was hurtful, there wasn't nothing funny about it and quite frankly, I think if I said those things about his daughter he might not find it so comedic."
