The PlayStation 3 is a real monster of a system -- heavy too. A slimmer model would most definitely be welcome. Don't expect one anytime soon though.
A Sony UK representative told Computer and Video Games, "We currently don't have any plans for a redesigned PS3."
No real surprise there -- it took Sony four years just to release a slim PlayStation 2. The PS3 will likely be even more difficult to redesign.
However, before you get all disappointed, realize that the other big E3 rumor -- the PSP Go! -- is very, very real. Trust us on this one.
