WWE RAW Live Results
May 27th, 2009 - Monterrey, Mexico
Report by Steve "Dr. Lucha" Sims, F4Wonline

Inicial: Kofi Kingston defeated Chavo Guerrero, one fall to zero, via pin fall. Chavo, who was said to have looked good here, tried for a Gori Bomb, but Kofi escaped and immediately hit The Trouble In Paradise and got the 1-2-3. The match was said to have been surprisingly good.

Segunda: Santino Marella defeated The Brian Kendrick, one fall to zero, via pin fall. It was all comedy, and they did a banana-peel finish, for as The Brian Kendrick had Santino Marella totally defeated and was going for The Sliced Bread Number Two, Kendrick slipped, and it turned into a surprise small package during which Marella rolled on top and got the 1-2-3.

Tercera: Damas: Mickie James (who wrestled with a mask with a butterfly on it) and Kelly Kelly defeated Beth Phoenix and Rosa Mendez (substituting for Mayse), one fall to zero. The finish saw Horns woggle run out and distract Beth Phoenix, who was about to dispose of Kelly Kelly. As Rosa also looked over, Mickie James tagged in and snuck behind for a schoolgirl and got Rosa for a 1-2-3.

Cuarta: For the United States Heavyweight Championship: MVP defeated William Regal, one fall to zero. MVP insulted Regal in Spanish, but then quickly won via pin fall with The Play Maker.

10-Minute Intermission

Especial: Tag-Team Championship Unification of Titles Match: “Los Primos Colon” [Carlito Colon and Eddy “El Primo” Colon] defeated Legacy [Ted DiBiase junior and Cody Rhodes], one fall to zero, via disqualification, when the referees caught DiBiase nailed Primo with a chair in the ring. Due to the DQ, no titles changed hands

Semifinal: John Cena defeated The Miz, one fall to zero, via pin fall with You can’t See Me followed by The Attitude Adjustment. Both reports I saw called this the best match of the night, a good show and a good match. The Miz before the match came out and claimed he had a 5-0 record versus Cena. Cena was cheered heavily during this match.

Estelar: Dave “The Animal” Batista and El Rey Mysterio junior defeated The Big Show and Randy Orton, one fall to zero. The finish was a pin fall. Rey went to give Show a senton but Show moved out of the way As Show got up, he moved menacingly towards Rey but the walking PED billboard started charging, and Battista flatted The Big Show with a spear, and El Rey Mysterio junior immediately followed with a 619, Batista did the Perro Aguayo lanza, and finally Rey hit a splash (one report said The Frog Splash, one just said splash) from off the top rope in the corner, and Rey covered for the 1-2-3.
