And WWE fucks up again!

This has to be the most stupid PPV in WWE history!

Crappy matches, crappy outcomes. Expect for Dreamer winning the ECW title. He really deserved that!

But Jericho taking the strap from Rey, and demasking him? WTF??
Kane tried to demask him, but couldn't, and that rugrat Jericho did it. Stupid!

Orton losing his title? It's beyond realism!

And Jeff winning the title. MARK OUT! But it wouldn't last for long :(
Cm cashing in the title now was the stupidest thing I've seen. Why let Jeff be champion for a couple of minutes then lose it to Punk?

I watch most wrestling I am able to watch. And I used to love WWE back in the time. I just feel they are pulling themselves down the drain. Isn't the WWE and WHC title worth anything anymore? They change hands at each PPV! It's silly!

And I have to honest. I marked out at the Ladder match! But as I said. When Punk came and cashed in his title I understood that they was gonna disappoint again.

Why does the MITB winner always got to win the strap when he cashes in? It's kinda stupid!

It was a shock. That was the point of it. Jeff wins and everyone freaks out, thinking that's it. It makes perfect sense for Punk to cash in after that match, and I thought it was AMAZING and really well done. Congrats to WWE for the FANTASTIC ending to the PPV!

I thought "smartmarks" were supposed to understand the buisness side of things? You are just a Jeff Hardy mark, plain and simple. I love Jeff Hardy (second only to CM Punk, funny enough), but it makes total sense. Jeff Hardy's storyline has been that he can't get a break and everything is always stacking up against them. What better way to show that than by having him win the title and then lose it right away? Punk's character has never pretended to care about friendships or anything. He is a competitor, and he saw an opportunity and took it. It makes perfect sense and is a great storyline to focus smackdown upon.

"Badest?" Are you sure you aren't 12?

This isn't bad booking at all. TNA is far worse, with Mick Foley as champion and the terrible Main Event Mafia Sting vs Angle crap. This is pretty great booking, and it's the first time that MITB has been cashed in against someone who just won the belt. You may be upset that Jeff lost it so quickly, but think about it. Punk had attempted to cash in multiple times, but was stopped by Umaga. He finally got rid of Umaga, why wouldn't he cash it in now?

If you have watched TNA in the last couple of months, they have booked many Mark Out matches.

I enjoyed that Dreamer won, alltough the match could be a bit more extreme.

You forgot Angle. But You're right. Those you mentioned are all great guys. And compared to the WWE roster, I think they are used pretty good.
Not to mention Team 3D. You can say what you want, but they have held Tag Team Titles 22 times!

And I don't think Trips is bad, He's just bulding up an ego, and that's a shame.

I'd like to point out an amazing little tidbit I noticed rewatching the fight. In the video package before the Ladder match, two of the voice overs go as follows:

Edge: "Jeff Hardy is not Championship Material.
Jeff Hardy: "...I beat a Punk..."

Back to back lines. I found that quite funny, as CM Punk has claimed that CM stands for Championship Material in the past. A little tongue in cheek spoiler from WWE in the montage?

I hope that Punk keeps it long this time. They are making him look strong and hope it continues. Hardys contract issues meant he may not win. Dreamer and Kofi I had predicted right. Batista was a shocker but he's injured now so lets see what happens

Actually, it originally stood for Chick Magnet, as he was in a stable called that with another CM in the indies. He's said different answers over the years (including Champtionship Material, and more recently Chicago Made), but there really isn't a correct answer. It changes.

I think he is the perfect candidate for a nice, long title run, and I really do think they can build the brand on him, maybe even all of the WWE. He can make wrestling "cool" again if they let him have a chance and try to bring back some of the lost viewers.

In a perfect world, Punk, regardless of heel or face, will be made to look strong in a long title reign, to Wrestlemania 26. Jeff will lose in a triple threat rematch and not sign with the company again, taking a break, but not having a one-on-one with Punk. Then, Jeff will make a suprise comeback at the Royal Rumble, winning it all and announcing that he signed a new deal, leading to a fued between Punk and Jeff for their first REAL one-on-one fight for the title at the big show (by this time, Punk would have to be heel, with the emphasis on the clean life vs Jeff's mistakes).

Before The Beginning

Best Match(es): Easily the Ladder Match, then ECW

Seriously though, Hardy and Edge gave everything they had and then Punk screws him over, yeah yeah, I know hes allowed to, but that was lame imo.
Hardy/Edge, wow, they really put on a show.

A 7-8 minute match for the title between Orton/Batista, not cool, glad Batista won though
