It is now confirmed that Lyoto Machida will defend his UFC Light-Heavyweight Title against Mauricio "Shogun" Rua at UFC 104 in Los Angeles on October 24th. Both sides have signed the agreement for the fight.

- The Countdown special for the UFC 99: The Comeback show, which will take place in Cologne, Germany, will debut on Spike TV on June 9th at 11 PM Eastern time, and will replay on June 13th (the day of the PPV) at 1:30 PM Eastern time. The special was originally scheduled to hype the Wanderlei Silva vs. Rich Franklin fight, as well as the Marcus Davis vs. Dan Hardy bout. The promo stuff on Hardy vs. Davis was dropped in order to promote Cain Velasquez vs. Cheick Kongo and Mirko Cro Cop vs. Mustapha al Turk.

- UFC has recently put up two fights for free in the UFC Media Live section on their website. The two bouts are Rich Franklin vs. Nate Quarry from UFC 56 as well as the Wanderlei Silva vs. Keith Jardine fight from UFC 84. To view the fights, go to UFC.com/multicast. Rich Franklin and Wanderlei Silva will face each other at the UFC 99 pay-per-view next weekend from Cologne, Germany.
