"The Franchise" Shane Douglas suffered a bad twisted ankle during the beginning of his match with Daniels at the TNA "Slammiversary" pay-per view.
This is apparently why Douglas never got things going too well in the match. He was reportedly in a lot of pain when he returned to the locker room.
We should have an update on the severity of the injury later.
