Bethesda has outlined some of what we can expect from Fallout 3's final downloadable content pack, Mothership Zeta. The pack is set to hit on August 3, and a new fact sheet gives some insight to the plot. Players will be abducted while responding to a distress call, and have to fight their way out. The aliens are threatening to wreak havoc on the Earth if they aren't stopped. The pack promises new characters "from Earth's past," presumably because aliens have been abducting people for years. Maybe we'll see Elvis.
No DLC would be complete without some new weapons and armor. This one will include a Gemini-Era Spacesuit, Samurai Armor, Alien Atomizer, Alien Disintegrator, and Drone Cannon. In hindsight, it was pretty foolish of the aliens to let a weapon called the "Alien Disintegrator" aboard their ship in the first place. Like the other packs, it will cost 800 Points ($10 USD).
