Who ever knew that Doc Louis was so big? The Punch-Out!! trainer has traditionally stayed out of the ring, leading to the impression that he's roughly as tall as Little Mac. Well, he may not be as tall as the rest of the Punch-Out!! antagonists, but based on the first screenshots of the forthcoming WiiWare spinoff, he still dwarfs poor Little Mac.
As we reported earlier, Doc Louis' return to the ring will be part of a new WiiWare title pitting Little Mac against his trainer. It will will be released as one of Club Nintendo's Platinum Rewards, allowing players to take on the legendary trainer even if they don't own the retail game.
Club Nintendo fans can earn the chance to download the Punch-Out!! spin-off by registering their games and answering surveys. Other rewards include the Game & Watch Collection and a variety of cards and cases.
The WiiWare title will be one of two prizes being offered to Platinum Member this fall, with the other being a replica Mario hat. Gold members will receive a 2010 Nintendo calendar.
Members can choose their reward any time before August 11. The rewards themselves will be available this fall.
