TNA World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle Injured

The PWTorch Newsletter reports that Kurt Angle was unable to wrestle at Saturday night’s TNA house show in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Kurt said he suffered a groin injury on a movie set this week.

Kurt had trouble walking, but he did sign autographs after the show.

He is scheduled to wrestle in the main event of Sunday’s TNA Victory Road PPV against Mick Foley in a title match. There’s currently no indication of a lineup change for the event.

Let's hope Kurt's okay for today's PPV. I'm not really worried about him going out there if he's too hurt, I remember one PPV that took place after he injured his neck in Korea and TNA had him sit it out and replaced him with Kaz in the triple threat main event.

EDIT: It's been confirmed that Kurt will in fact be wrestling tonight at the PPV. Hopefully that means the groin injury isn't that bad.
