Paul Gascoigne has flirted with Anne Robinson on a Sporting Heroes episode of The Weakest Link.
The former England footballer admits to meeting the presenter in the gym and says that he regrets not making more of their time together.
When Robinson asks the sports legend if he's still fit, he replies: "I'm fit as... I did have the chance once and I turned you down. I'm mad."
The host responds: "Now, come on Gazza. We were in the gym together... I didn't know I had the chance. I'd have been off that treadmill really fast."
Afterwards, Gascoigne jokes: "You should have seen how quick I pedalled when I saw you, darling... I am single, until I meet up with you later!"
Later in the show, the footballer tells the audience that he was hoping the show's quiz questions would be about "rehab, cocktails and beer".
