Patrick Swayze is "doing well" and beginning to feel better in his battle against pancreatic cancer, according to his representative.
A recent tabloid report had suggested that the 56-year-old Dirty Dancing star had suffered a heart attack allegedly triggered by the treatment that he was receiving for the disease.
Speaking to Access Hollywood, his spokesperson said: "He’s well. He’s continuing his treatment and doing very well, actually. Contrary to reports, he did not suffer a heart attack and has even gained a little weight."
This is not the first time that Swayze has been forced to deny rumours about his health. Earlier this year, his representative slammed a report that the actor had passed away as "reckless" and previously warned the media to "think twice about printing inaccuracies".
Swayze, who was diagnosed with the illness in March 2008, recently appeared in the A&E crime drama The Beast.
