Jennie Garth will remain on The CW's reboot of 90210, it has been reported.
The actress, who has played Kelly Taylor on both incarnations of the US TV series, will be the only original member from Fox's Beverly Hills, 90210 to appear on the second season of the updated programme, TV Guide reports.
It is understood that executive producer Kirshner Sinclair has mandated that no former West Beverly High alumni will star in season two in an effort to separate the two versions.
Last year, the series featured special appearances by Tori Spelling and Shannen Doherty. Garth will be seen in episode three of the new season in her guidance counsellor role.
