Why Are Some Netflix Movies Not Invited To Xbox Party?Disney and Starz content not available for new Netflix party feature.By David Ellis, 07/23/2009One of the most anticipated features when Netflix support was first announced for the Xbox 360 was the ability to watch movies online together. While trying out the new Netflix Party feature during an early preview test of the upcoming dashboard update, we stumbled across something interesting. All content from Disney (which includes it's subsidiary Starz) is unavailable for party viewing using the new feature. So far these are the only videos that appear to be affected. It's unclear whether this is a short term glitch or part of the licensing agreement between Netflix and Disney. We've contacted Microsoft and Netflix for comment, and will update the story when we know more.And check back later for a walkthrough of some of the new Xbox update features.
