Christina Aguilera has joked that the paparazzi are "upset" that she does not need to leave her house in order to work.
The 'Beautiful' singer, husband Jordan Bratman and their 1-year-old son Max recently moved into a new Los Angeles home that boasts its own recording studio.
Speaking to The AP, she said: "It just has been so perfect for me to just wake up in the morning, put on my flip flops and sweat pants.
"Just [to] go back in the studio and pretty much get into my creative cave and zone out that way, so it's been really convenient."
She added: "So the paparazzi have probably been upset with me. I know they told my husband, they're like, 'Is she every going to leave the house?'"
Aguilera is currently working on a follow-up to 2006's Back To Basics and will star opposite Cher in the upcoming big screen musical Burlesque.
