Lisa Kudrow has reportedly claimed that her Friends character was inspired by co-star Jennifer Aniston.
The actress, who played masseuse Phoebe Buffay in the hit sitcom, told WENN that she initially had trouble relating to her eccentric alter ego.
"Phoebe was so spiritual and 'out there' - and I wasn't at all. Not at all," she is quoted as saying.
"If anyone was, it was Jennifer. She introduced me to certain books that gave me an insight into that world - which was a more spiritual realm."
Kudrow recently played down speculation that the series, which ran from 1994 until 2004, will be adapted into a big screen movie.
