Josh Barnett's B Sample has come back, and it also tested positive for 2a-methyl-5a-androstan-3a-ol-17-one. As noted before, Barnett is heading back to Japan to do some pro wrestling.

- Dave Meltzer reports that the latest pay-per-view buy numbers for UFC 100 is 1.72 million.

- UFC President Dana White announced on Friday's conference call that Tito Ortiz has signed with the UFC. White stated that "Tito will retire in the UFC." Ortiz is expected to return to the octagon in November or December, and White confirmed that Mark Coleman is a possible opponent. Tito Ortiz has an MMA record of 15-6-1, with only one of those fights coming outside of the UFC. He last fought in May of 2008 in a losing effort against current light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida.

- During the UFC Conference Call, Dana White confirmed the following signings to the UFC and WEC;

UFC:
* Paul Daley
* Ben Rothwell
* Chase Gormley
* Paul Buentello
* Dan Lauzon
* Rafaello Oliveira

WEC
* Mark Hominick
* L.C. Davis
* Javier Vazquez

Mark Hominick will make his WEC return at WEC 43. No opponent has been announced for him at this time. Hominick (16-8) will return to the WEC, where he went 0-2 in his first run with the company, losing to Josh Grispi and Rani Yahya.

They made a couple good signings from the affliction demise, but anyone short of Fedor is a letdown.
