Halle Berry has said that being a mum got her the title of Sexiest Woman Alive.
The X-Men actress received the accolade from Esquire magazine last year and explained that she found the tribute to be "silly", Contactmusic reports.
She said: "I think those things are kind of silly because nobody is the sexiest anything, so I asked them to let me write my own article to poke fun at the label."
Berry credits giving birth to her 16-month-old daughter Nahla as the reason why men continually view her as a sex symbol.
She added: "What I thought was interesting about them choosing me was that I had just had a baby, so it was all about saying that motherhood can be sexy - that was the important thing."
The 42-year-old actress is currently being lined up for the lead role in The Surrogate, which would be her first acting job since having a child.
