Kid Icarus fans lamenting the continued lack of a next-generation release should keep an eye on the Wii's next round of downloadable releases. NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits may not exactly be the same thing, but it's pretty darn close.
NyxQuest stars a winged girl named Nyx who is searching for the Greek legend Icarus, whom she befriended after he ventured into her realm. Nyx is helped on her way by special powers that allow her to move objects and control the wind, among other things.
NyxQuest will be available on August 10, and will run you 1000 Wii Points ($10). If you like indie platforming games, you might not want to miss this one.
