Police have searched the Georgia home of a 53-year-old man accused of attempting to stalk Miley Cyrus during the filming of the teenager's new movie.
Captain Steve Morris of the Columbia County Sheriff's Department did not say what investigators were looking for at the Appling home of Mark McLeod.
McLeod told police he was secretly engaged to marry the 16-year-old Hannah Montana star.
The search warrant was sealed by a judge.
McLeod told a Tybee Island police officer who arrested him in June that he had "thousands of pictures and letters to Miley on his computer", according to a police report.
McLeod was arrested for attempted stalking, a misdemeanour, after security guards for Walt Disney Pictures reported that he had returned to the filming location on Tybee Island, asking where he could find Cyrus.
Police say McLeod had been warned to stay away from the island, east of Savannah, after he was charged on June 22 with disorderly conduct and obstruction of a police officer for trying to cross a security perimeter at the movie set.
McLeod told police he wanted to see Cyrus, claiming she was his fiancee and sent him secret messages through her TV show.
