Marvel vs. Capcom 2 hits the PlayStation Network today and another downloadable game is already scheduled to release next Thursday. Developer Creat Studios announced today that Smash Cars, which was first shown at this year's GDC, is coming to PSN on August 20 for $15. Smash Cars is a follow-up to the PS2 game of the same name and was originally scheduled for a release in the second quarter of 2009, but like virtually everything else coming out in 2009, it's now coming out later than expected. Smash Cars is an RC car racing game that, as you might ascertain from watching the video above, isn't exactly Gran Turismo. It's an arcade style racer that has you driving along places like the beach (complete with humans walking around), and performing tricks to gain a boost.
